Introduction
Un/Balance . Inspired by the history of performance, showmanship and acrobatics of the area we proposed to create a facade that plays on these themes. Specifically we are interested in creating a facade that explores balance and equilibrium to appear in perfect harmony but simulteanous precarity.
We are excited by moments of natural magic, those moments when we are forced to suspend belief. Moments where we are forced to readress the physics, weight and materiality of previously understood structures. We are interested in playing with materiality, geometry and perception to create a design that is both sophisticated and playful.
